Residential Garbage Collection Affected By Thanksgiving
Residential garbage collection within the City of Youngstown WILL be a day late for all City residents whose trash is normally collected on Thursday or Friday, due to the November 27th Thanksgiving Day Holiday.
If your normal pick up day is Thursday, please make sure that your trash is at the curb Thursday evening (Thanksgiving Day evening) for Friday’s pick up. If your normal pick up day is Friday, please make sure that your trash is at the curb Friday evening for Saturday’s pick up.
Trash Collection On Normal Schedule for Independence Day
YOUNGSTOWN RESIDENTIAL GARBAGE COLLECTION NOT AFFECTED BY Independence Day.
Residential garbage collection within the City of Youngstown will NOT be affected by the Independence Day Holiday, Friday, July 4, 2025 since the landfill will be opened Friday, July 4th and closed Saturday, July 5th.
The Sanitation Department of the City of Youngstown will be following their normal pickup schedule the week of June 30th thru July 4th, 2025.
City residents should place their garbage at the curb for their regularly scheduled collection date.
