Youngstown Residential Garbage Collection Affected by Labor Day Holiday

In observance of Labor Day, City of Youngstown offices will be closed on Monday, September 7th to allow their employees time to spend with their families.

There will be no garbage collection service on Monday, September 07, 2026.

The following is the garbage collection service schedule for the week of Labor Day only:

* If your normal service day is MONDAY, you will be serviced on TUESDAY.

* If your normal service day is TUESDAY, you will be serviced on WEDNESDAY.

* If your normal service day is WEDNESDAY, you will be serviced on THURSDAY.

* If your normal service day is THURSDAY, you will be serviced on FRIDAY.

* If your normal service day is FRIDAY, you will be serviced on SATURDAY.

**To avoid missed service, place trash at the curb the evening before service day
