Greg Richardson

Greg "The Flea" Richardson danced his way to the WBC Bantamweight World Title on February 25, 1991, defeating Raul Perez by unanimous decision. A crafty and elusive fighter with lightning-fast footwork and technical brilliance, Richardson's ring IQ and movement set him apart. Nicknamed "The Flea" for his slipperiness and speed, he proudly carried Youngstown's name to the global stage and remains one of the city's most respected boxing technicians.
