Harry Arroyo

Hailing from Youngstown's Southside, Harry "Dirty Harry" Arroyo won the IBF Lightweight World Title on April 15, 1984, defeating Charlie "Choo Choo" Brown in a gritty 14-round fight. A proud product of Youngstown's East Side, Arroyo was known for his flashy style, fast hands, and ability to adapt mid-fight. During his reign, Arroyo made two successful title defenses and became a symbol of resilience and showmanship during a golden era of boxing.
