Effiective immediately, Edwards Street between Mahoning Ave and High Street will be closed for emergency repairs to a sanitary sewer. Access to 1-680 will be Glenwood Avenue to High Street. Edwards Street is expected to re-open in approzimately two (2) days.
The Mill Creek Interceptor Sewer Project, scheduled for construction between 2025 and 2027, aims to enhance the city's sewer system in the area encompassing Lake Glacier, Lake Newport, and Mill Creek Park. The project is currently in its preliminary design phase, which includes various field studies such as soil studies, topographic surveys, stream and wetland assessments, sewer inspections, wildlife studies, and cultural resources surveys.
