Melanie Clarke-Penella brings a diverse and accomplished background to her role as Special Events Coordinator. She has extensive experience in event planning, particularly in public parks in Brooklyn, New York, and served as the Vice President of Business Development at Digital Launch in Manhattan, where she handled publicity for Grammy-winning and chart-topping musical artists. Her expertise extends to the entertainment industry, having worked in Publicity for Lexicon Public Relations in Beverly Hills, managing large marketing campaigns for Lionsgate Films and Netflix. An award-winning filmmaker and artist, Melanie studied animation at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and served as the Director of Admissions at the Art Institute of New York City from 2009 to 2014, before transitioning into a contractor role. She combines her passion for the arts with a strategic approach to economic development in the events she coordinates. Raised in Canfield, Ohio, Melanie returned to the area in 2021 and now resides in Youngstown. |
