Coronavirus Update (3-15-2020)
Today, Governor Mike DeWine and Dr. Amy Acton, in cooperation with local health departments across the state, ordered all restaurants and bars closed to in-person dining effective at 9PM on Sunday, March 15. Restaurants may remain open to provide take out and delivery services to their patrons.
Please continue supporting our local restaurants by ordering take out and delivery.
Lt. Governor Jon Husted announced that the state of Ohio will be offering support to small businesses who are impacted by this order- more details will be announced in the coming days. In the meantime, small businesses can go to the SBA website (see link below).
Lt. Governor Husted also announced that the state of Ohio will be waiving restrictions to access unemployment benefits- more details will be announced in the coming days.
Lastly, during this time, residents of the city of Youngstown are encouraged to remain cautious and practice social and spacial distancing- please stay in if you can. Residents are urged to check on neighbors who are elderly or may be more susceptible to contracting this virus.
