American Rescue Plan
The City of Youngstown has received an $82.7 million allocation from the American Rescue Plan (ARP). Community input is being sought regarding the best utilization of these funds. A summit of City stakeholders was held and a series of community listening sessions will be scheduled in the summer.
Initial City priorities are eliminating blight by demolishing at least 500 vacant homes, improving housing quality for residents, cleaning up commercial corridors, increasing fresh food access for residents, improving transit accessibility, investing in parks and city youth, and stabilizing the city budget.
Make your priorities known by filling out the Youngstown ARP Stakeholder Survey. Refer to the documents and resources below for more information.
